What began as a necessity grew into a passion. I immersed myself in research, poring over books and studies about botanicals, natural remedies, and skin science. My kitchen became my lab, and the first formulation I created was the Botanical Balm. To this day, 20 years later, it remains one of our most beloved products—a testament to the power of simple, effective, and clean ingredients.
At 40, my dream expanded. I purchased a small farm just outside the charming village of East Aurora, NY, and named it Gypsy Meadows. Here, the journey of Be Love truly flourished. The farm became my sanctuary, where I began growing and harvesting my own botanicals—calendula, dandelions, lavender, and more—infusing my products with the vitality of nature. Goats and chickens joined the family, adding a touch of whimsy and connection to the land. Every corner of Gypsy Meadows reflects the philosophy behind Be Love: simple, intentional, and grounded in the rhythms of the natural world.
It all started with one little lip gloss. I was 17, full of curiosity and creativity, when I first dabbled in crafting something I could call my own. Fast forward a few years, and my relationship with skincare had turned into a deeply personal mission. By my mid-20s, I was struggling with hyperpigmentation and other skin afflictions that seemed impossible to resolve. Dermatologists prescribed treatments that only made things worse, filled with unpronounceable ingredients I didn’t want near my skin. Frustrated and desperate for solutions, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
