Returns & Exchanges

For All Online Orders Only

All merchandise—with the exception of sale items and Bath+Body products—may be returned at any time in-store or by mail. 

If you are not completely satisfied with your  purchase you may return it to HER Story for a full refund (less shipping fees), or an exchange. Returns and exchanges for online orders are accepted on merchandise within 21 days of receipt for items that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL tags attached. All sale items and bath + Body products are final sale. All returned items should be sent back fully insured by UPS or FedEx.

*Her story is not responsible for shipping fees or lost returns. Please obtain a tracking number for your records.*

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Refund Process

Most returns will process in approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on your method of return. Additional processing delays may occur.

A refund will then be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately two days after the processing date. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement.

Gift card purchases will be refunded in the form of another gift card.

Refunds for merchandise purchased more than 30 days will not be refunded.

Exchanges

Merchandise exchanges can be made using any of the following methods. Please review the information below to determine which type of exchange will work best for you.

If you are making an exchange by mail, please fill out the back of your packing list to indicate the type of exchange you’d like to make and enclose it in your package.

To make an exchange for the same item in a different size or color:

If you are making an exchange for the same item in a different size or color, you will not be charged for reshipment of the item to you. 

To make an exchange for a different item:

If you are making an exchange for a different item, an additional shipping fee will be applied to your new order.

If the cost of your new item is less than that of the item you originally ordered, your original method of payment will be credited the price difference, minus the applicable new shipping fee.

If the cost of your new item is more than that of the item you originally ordered, your original method of payment will be charged the price difference, in addition to the applicable new shipping fee.

Please note that an additional shipping fee may also be charged.

To make an exchange at our store:

Exchanges are complimentary in store. 

When making an exchange at one of our stores, please bring your original packing list and the items you wish to exchange in their original packaging to expedite the process. Exchanges must be made within 14 day of receiving merchandise.
